On your first visit, which is the most important one, we will take a complete series of digital X-rays. We use digital X-rays which involve the lowest amount of radiation possible to give us detailed information about the structures of your teeth. So, if there is any early bone loss or tooth decay, you will be diagnosed much earlier so that we can treat you with less-invasive and also less-costlier treatment. After taking the x-rays, our doctor will give you a comprehensive oral examination and discuss all his findings with you. He will have answers to any question or concern you may have; and formulate a personal treatment plan based on what you need.
We will schedule an appointment with Lauren, our hygienist, on our next visit, or it could be coincidentally the same day. We value your time as much as anyone does; therefore, we ask you to set aside 60-120 minutes for your first visit.
Please do not forget to bring:
- Valid driver's license or photo identification
- Your newly filled-out new patient paperwork
- Your dental insurance card or other necessary insurance information
